Making Room In Our Home and Our Hearts
Several years ago my parents moved to the Dallas area to be closer to my family. My son was young at the time and I have long valued the influence his grandparents have had on him over the years. This week Darla Hill, a member of our Care Team, challenges us to look at the value of inviting intergenerational relationships into our families. The value gained by inviting people who are not of the same generation into our homes, even if they are not blood relatives, can have a lasting impact on how we see the world and how our kids care for people who are not just like them. This is such a sweet story, we are excited to share it with you.
