Guest author Jansen Bean: “When I was a kid, I grew up helping my dad and grandparents on a small farm. My dad owned a few rental properties, as well, which he always maintained himself. I was usually right there alongside them, helping however I could. Through those years, the lessons I learned while watching and helping out really took root and helped me as I grew into adulthood. Now a husband and father of two, I find it enjoyable to take care of my own stuff. Each week, it seems like there’s another small project to handle.
